The motor tends to be the most expensive replacement part for any central vacuum system and it's also a good idea to replace the filter when you're replacing the motor. This process can add to not only the overall cost of the repair but the time you'll spend as well. Keeping in mind that replacement motors will only have a one(1) year warranty, another option to consider would be to replace the entire power unit in favor of a newer model. Newer power units can have up to a twenty(20) year, no-strings-attached, warranty and will often be quieter too!

Ametech Lamb Motor foam gasket.	April 11, 2023

It was the correct motor. But it had been dropped, breaking the plastic outlet through nearly entire length. The carton was undamaged so it was broken before packing.
Foam gasket fit the motor but had to be notched around three flanges in housing. The ones that the motor attachment springs hook to.

This was to replace a 116467 motor from my parents central vac. Installation was very easy. I would like to thank Central Vacuum Direct for their fast processing and shipping of the motor. I ordered it on Tuesday night and received it on Thursday. My mother was very pleased that she could use her vacuum again. My parents are in their 80's.
