The handle on my central vac hose broke; the hose itself was still in excellent condition and all. Unfortunately, I couldn't just replace the power handle, I had to replace the hose as well, at a considerable expense. There should be a way to make the hose and the handle interchangeable; maybe by just having to disconnect wire plugins.
