Now that you're done piping the inlet valve stubs, it's time to move onto installing the pipe for the central vacuum throughout the home. A couple of tips before you start to pipe the system:

1. Try to make a straight cut on the central vacuum pipe, this will make sure there are no leaks in your system.
2. Make sure the cut edge is smooth, you can do this by running to fingers around the edge to remove the excess PVC.
3. When you glue your central vacuum pipe, make sure the glue is always applied on the outside of the pipe, and not the interior of the fitting. This will reduce excess glue from being on the interior of the pipe, and reduce possible clogging of the central vacuum.
4. Make sure the flow of the central vacuum pipe is always towards the unit. This will reduce clogs.

The first thing you will need to do is plan out your main trunk line. Make sure you have all the necessary central vacuum parts to properly install. These include all the different fittings. The main trunk line is what all the other lines from other valves connect to. You can think of piping a central vacuum like a tree. You have your valves as the outer twigs, which lead into main branches, which lead to the trunk. Piping your system like this will make sure it is done correctly and without possible clogging points. Start at the farthest valve and then work your way to the main trunk line. You want to be very careful of what you're piping around and drilling through. You should never cut through a support beam, or run your PVC central vacuum pipe next to a hot water line. You can drill through 2x4 wall studs, and the boards in between the floor Joyce.

When you are done installing the central vacuum pipe, you should now connect the low voltage wire. Starting from each inlet valve, run the wire along the pipe. When you come across a point where the two lines connect, cut each of the wires and connect them with wire nuts, turning them into a single low voltage line. The low voltage wire is connected to the central vacuum hose, and is used to turn the power unit on and off.
