This metal central vacuum hose handle is designed for use with 1-3/8" non-electric standard central vacuum hoses. It features a 360 degree swivel handle, button lock and a built-in suction control. This handle can be used with most 1-1/4" plastic wands and vacuum attachments. The button lock function will only work with the VACUFLO Telescopic Wand [6791-G], the VACUFLO Upper Wand With Buttons [6771] or the Universal Fit Telescopic Button Lock Wand.

If you purchase the 50' Standard Central Vacuum Hose [6453-50-G] then this end can be used with the 1-3/8" Central Vacuum Hose Cuff With Band [7067-G] to make custom hose lengths.

We had a plastic hose handle that came with the hose. It broke off and I had a heck  of a time getting the broken part of the plastic handle out of the metal tube, but did finally.  The replacement metal hose handle seemed a little loose when reattached to the hose.  I tried applying a Kwik  Seal around the outside of the hose and inside of the hose handle.  Waiting to see if it will hold, but it is too early to know.  If it doesn't hold, I am open to any suggestions.  Otherwise, I am satisfied with the order.

As described, though a touch larger than my old hose, did fit, made it air tight with a little silicone sealant.
