  • The motor tends to be the most expensive replacement part for any central vacuum system and it's also a good idea to replace the filter when you're replacing the motor. This process can add to not only the overall cost of the repair but the time you'll spend as well. Keeping in mind that replacement motors will only have a one(1) year warranty, another option to consider would be to replace the entire power unit in favor of a newer model. Newer power units can have up to a twenty(20) year, no-strings-attached, warranty and will often be quieter too!

Paul gave gave me good old-fashioned service during my successful efforts to replace my central vac motor.  The manufactor must have replaced the type of motor and Paul and his staff worked with me for a work-around to get my unit back in business.  Thanks guys.

I am a female, and I DO NOT do electrical service jobs at all. This was a perfect match. Very easy to install and now my central vac is back in action. Saved my hundreds by not having to call a service tech.
