At first I thought the switch was bad, but replacing that didn't solve the issue.  I concluded that there was something wrong on the end of the hose that plugs into the wall.  Problem solved.  Fairly easy to install.  I actually only replaced the part that had the prongs, re-using the original other parts and it works just fine.  Less than a 5 minute repair.
