CHAMELEON & SPOT INSTALLATION GUIDE

Installing a Chameleon or Spot Retractable Hose System

Chameleon and Spot retractable hose systems require compatible installation components and properly configured central vacuum piping. Whether you're planning a new installation or servicing an existing system, understanding the inlet assembly, piping layout and hose storage requirements is an important part of the process.

Watch the installation video below and review our Chameleon/Spot installation information for additional guidance before beginning your project.

01 Choose the Correct Installation Kit

Identify whether you're installing a Chameleon or Spot retractable hose system and review the available installation kits. Check the included components, inlet compatibility and piping requirements to determine which kit is appropriate for your project.

02 Plan Your Piping & Inlet Locations

Retractable hoses are stored inside the central vacuum piping, making proper pipe routing and inlet placement especially important. Follow the applicable installation instructions for pipe configuration, fittings and available hose storage space.

03 Identify Compatible Replacement Parts

When repairing an existing system, identify the installed retractable hose model and the component requiring replacement. Compare product descriptions and connection specifications to ensure the replacement part matches your installation.
